IDM does not show a video download panel for web players. What should I do?

IDM does not catch any downloads. What should I do?

1. First you need to repair your IDM installation. Please read how to fix IDM integration into all popular browsers.
2. If you want to download a streaming video, please note that some sites use protocols that are not yet supported by IDM. For such sites IDM cannot show video download panel. You can check if video download panel is shown on YouTube, there IDM should show it normally. We plan to add support for additional protocols like RTSP in one of the future versions of IDM.
3. Some videos (for example many large clips on YouTube) may use protected protocol that IDM does not support for legal reasons (read details).
